Czech Republic with Magda

Magda is an 11-year-old from the Czech Republic. Her parents gave her a camera for her birthday, so she’s decided to head off to do a little photojournalism. She starts with the family garden and surrounds, to take some shots of plants and animals. Then she heads off into town, to take some photos of the communist-era houses and factories. She also takes in a visit to her grandparents’ home in the country. Along the way, there are some very pretty churches and a Slovak border crossing that she wants to capture on film. But her camera breaks down, so she head’s off to the capital Prague: it’s the only place she can get it repaired. Which is the perfect opportunity for another visit, and just as soon as the camera is fixed, she continues her photographic tour in the city of a thousand steeples.
